The Countdown Spectacular is back!
On Wednesday 5 September 2007 a whole heap of acts will be performing at Burswood Dome, including many international acts!
Rick Springfield, Martha Davis of The Motels, Doug Fieger Of The Knack, Katrina Leskanich formerly of Katrina & The Waves, Plastic Bertrand, Les McKeown formerly of The Bay City Rollers, Richard Gower of Racey, David Paton of Pilot, Robin Scott alias ‘M’, Samantha Fox and Graham Bonnet.
Birtles Shorrock Gobles (founding members of Little River Band), Richard Clapton, Kate Ceberano (I’m Talking), Supernaut (reforming especially), The Radiators, Sharon O’Neill, John Schumann of Redgum, Dave Mason of The Reels, Ignatius Jones of Jimmy & The Boys, Paul Gray of Wa Wa Nee and the rockin’ Doc Neeson’s Angels.
Molly Meldrum will be co-hosting with John Paul Young, who will also perform.

Hip hop heavyweight Xzibit will be back in Australia, and performing at Capitol in Perth on 26 June 2007.
Xzibit is one of music’s most proficient artists. With over six million albums sales to his name, he has been heralded as one of the most skilled emcees in the game. But X has always looked above and beyond, lending himself to video games, cinema and television. From his wildly successful MTV show Pimp My Ride, to starring in films with Samuel Jackson, Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen, Xzibit has become a household name.
This will be an 18+ show with Dafari (originally a member of Tha Alkaholiks, alongside Xzibit).

Full of sass, opinion and girly charm, Lily Allen will bring her infectious pop tunes from the near platinum debut album Alright Still to Perth for the very first time. Since her smash hit single Smile was added to radio everywhere in 2006, Lily has been tearing up stages, the media and the rulebook around the world wherever she goes.
Lily will be supported by Macromantics and it’s an 18+ show.

Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren will peform an extended set at Metro City on 8 June 2007.
On the back of his 2004 sold out solo tour and his headlining spots on the 2006 Two Tribes Festivals, Armin will treat Perth with an extended set you’ll need the whole weekend to recover from. Expect to be transported to another world as spectacular visuals and sophisticated sound production beam out to a sea of party people all dressed in WHITE!
It’s all happening from 10pm to 6am and Mark James (Melbourne) and Perth DJ’s will support. It’s an 18+ event. Dress in white, but it’s not compulsory.

Human Nature perform at Challenge Stadium on Friday 22 June 2007.
Australia’s most successful vocal group will be touring arenas around Australia from June – bringing to their legions of fans their multi-platinum albums of your favourite Motown songs, live and “in the round”. With a brand new production to be directed by Dein Perry of “Tap Dogs” fame, Human Nature will perform on stage in the centre in each venue, bringing their fans up close and personal as the group pump out the anthems that have sold more than 700,000 albums for them in Australia during the last 2 years.

An Evening with Burt Bacharach will see the legendary songwriter perform at his piano with his band and singers and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra at Burswood Theatre on 1 and 2 July 2007.
In a career spanning six decades the legendary songwriter has had 48 Top 10 hits, nine number 1 songs and won numerous Academy and Grammy Awards. The concert will include hits such as What’s New Pussycat, Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head, Always Something There to Remind Me, I Say a Little Prayer, Alfie and many more.

Danny Green takes on Puerto Rico’s Manny Siaca in an IBO world title elimination bout at Challenge Stadium on Wednesday 30 May 2007, from 5pm.
In what promises to be one of his toughest bouts yet, Green 23-3 (21 KO`s) tackles the highly rated and KO specialist Siaca 20-6 (18 KO`s). Siaca who fought for the world title on 6 occasions, is well known for taking Anthony Mundine’s WBA super middle weight world title in May 2004.
