Snoop DoggSnoop Dogg definitely has has a visa this time, and will be performing in Perth on Friday 7 November 2008 at Burswood Dome.

Ice Cube and Bone, Thugs n Harmony come along for the ride.

From music to movies, video games to clothing lines and now his own hit TV show (the reality series Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood which began in December 2007) Snoop Dogg has become a household name. His most recent and ninth (9th) solo studio album ‘Ego Trippin’, was released in March (Universal Music). On stage, Snoop remains in formidable form. Check out this from the prestigious New York Times last month: “Backed by a band, his set was like an R&B revue — slick, cocksure and mature.”

Tickets go on sale 12 17 September through Ticketek!

Cirque - Dralion

Cirque du Soleil are returning to Perth with their show ‘Dralion‘, from 29 January to 25 March 2009!

Dralion is the fusion of ancient Chinese circus tradition and the avant-garde approach of Cirque du Soleil. The show’s name is drawn from its two main symbols: the dragon, representing the East, and the lion, representing the West. Dralion derives much of its inspiration from Eastern philosophy with its perpetual quest for harmony between humankind and nature.

Buy tickets via the Cirque du Soleil website

Ticket prices start from $55 for weekday matinees for the cheapest seats, and go up to $270 for the VIP Tapis Rouge experience!

The VinesThe Vines return with a national tour and perform in Perth at the Rosemount Hotel on Saturday 8 November 2008.

After their many well documented trials and tribulations, no one really had the right to expect to find THE VINES in such rude health in 2008, but with the release of MELODIA, the band have come full circle, recording their best album since ‘Highly Evolved’ and playing the finest live shows of their career. Anyone who has witnessed the band’s incendiary sets at Splendour, Homebake or Big Day Out over the past two years will attest to the fact that as a live force they are now nigh on unstoppable.

Troubadour Steve Earle returns to Australia, and performs at the Regal Theatre in Subiaco on Sunday 2 November 2008, with his wife Allison Moorer opening the show.

Steve Earle’s recorded music career has to date delivered twelve studio albums and five live albums. Steve has also written books both story and poetry and a stage play.
Asked how he would like listeners to respond to Washington Square Serenade, Earle, characteristically, is ready with a bold answer. “If you feel like you don’t know what America is all about right now, and you want to reorient yourself to what America should be about, it’s a really good time to come to New York City,” he says. “I needed really badly at this point in my life to see a mixed-race, same-sex couple holding hands in my own neighborhood. It makes me feel safer.”
“I’ve been pretty heartbroken about the way things have gone politically in this country the last few years, and I seriously considered moving someplace else,” he concludes. “Then I figured out that I didn’t have to leave the country. All I had to do was come to New York.”

Tickets on sale on 26 August through Ticketek.

All ages show.
