New Kids On The Block are coming down under in August on their Full Service tour. They perform in Perth at Burswood Dome on Saturday 1 August 2009.

As fresh-faced teens in the 1980s, NKOTB shot to world wide superstardom as the first white boy band. They sold 80 million albums, broke teenage hearts everywhere and inspired a whole generation of young boy bands to follow in their footsteps.

After splitting in 1994, New Kids On The Block announced they were getting back together late last year and fans have gone wild.

About the tour, Joey McIntyre said “we’re still young, we’re still hot! Our fans are between 25 and 35 because they were really young then. They’re still very attractive – and very legal. So it’s going to be a girls’ night out. It’s going to be fun!”

Special guest is Wall of Soundz featuring Brian McFadden.

Tickets go on sale from Ticketek on Thursday 28 May.

Augie March perform at the Fly By Night in Fremantle on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 August.

For the past 13 years Melbourne band Augie March have achieved what very few bands, indeed artists in any field in Australia, can claim to have achieved. While steadily building a loyal and ferocious fan base, they have simultaneously sustained critical acclaim and commercial viability.

This year has seen the completion of two very successful and very different tours on the back of the release of their fourth LP “Watch Me Disappear”. The most recent, titled “On The Quiet” was a sellout, a rare presentation of the band stripped back and swinging, a revelation for many in the audience who perhaps had always heard the music but never realised it was 5 human beings with sticks and strings making it come about.

Special guests: Gareth Liddiard and Dan Luscombe from The Drones

Tickets on sale from Heatseeker and the Fly By Night for $35 + booking fee.
