An exhilarating day of excitement, elegance and entertainment Returning for its seventh year, join a who’s who of Perth’s social scene, together with national and international guests, as they gather at Duncraig Stud in the Swan Valley for the most anticipated event of the year on Sunday 3rd April. Pulses will race as some of the best horsemen from Australia and abroad compete in the historic and challenging game of equine polo. Experience the electrifying atmosphere created by the close proximity to the on-field action as you witness a game like no other. A great line up of accompanying off-field entertainment, will keep you busy throughout the day enjoying activities such as a fashion parade by Adam Heath Boutique, luxury car display from Bentley, Alison Jade pamper marquee and delicious locally sourced food and drink. Melbourne-based celebrity chef Guy Grossi will prepare a delicious menu for guests in the VIP marquee, showcasing his signature Italian-inspired food style and philosophy. Guy has become a well-known media personality thanks to his appearances on shows including Food Safari, Masterchef Australia and My Kitchen Rules, and is the author of five cookbooks, the most recent of which is Love Italy. Australian music icon Daryl Braithwaite will also travel to Perth to perform exclusively for the event, performing a set of four songs including the Australian No. 1 hit, ‘The Horses’. Initially finding success with classic 1970s rock/pop group Sherbet, Daryl went on to forge a successful solo career recording 15 Australian Top 40 singles, noted for his soulful and versatile vocals. Competition isn’t limited to the playing field, with guests invited to participate in the ever popular ‘Fashion on the Field’, the hilarious ‘Dash for Ladies and Gents’ and the traditional ‘Divot Stomp’. The winner of the Ladies & Gents Fashion on the Field will win a custom female and male piece from Rohan Jewellery respectively. 101 Residential Polo in the Valley is proud to support Youth Focus, a Telethon supported charity dedicated to working with young people showing signs of depression, self-harm and suicide. Proceeds from the event go directly to the charity with nearly half a million dollars collectively raised in previous years. This sensational event hosts a variety of ticketing options, including picnic bays, syndicated lounge tickets, and private or corporate marquees. Telethon also hosts a ticketed marquee where members of the public can mingle with their favourite Channel 7 stars, who will be announced in the lead up to the event.
